Welcome to my Website!

The Bourbon County Garden Tractor Pulling Association ( BCGTPA)  was started in the spring of 2000. Some friends got together and went to watch a pull, then came home and started building tractors. They pulled for fun at different locations around Bourbon County the first year. Then more people saw how much fun the others was having and started building tractors.

When the BCGTPA was organized there were 10 founding members. Now the association has about 75 members. The members range from retirees to 5 year old kids; from truck drivers to farmers to medical personel to grandparents. The association is family oriented with men, women and kids pulling in the different classes. The members are from Southeastern Kansas, Northeastern Oklahoma and Western Missouri.

The BCGTPA has expanded since the first year, now the association has 10 - 15 pulls a year. The locations are within a 50 mile radius of Ft. Scott Kansas. We like to pull at the local town events: homecomings, county fairs, Harvest Festivals, etc.

This web page is design to let the viewer see what the BCGPTA is all about. The rules for the association,  horsepower/weight classes, pull schedule, and classified ads,  pulling related only, will be posted on the sites appropriate pages. A picture gallery is also available for the pullers to show off thier tractors. The cancellation of a pull or changes of the pull schedule will be posted on the site. The site will be updated accordingly as information is provided.

If someone has information or something to post on the site send your information to bcgtpa@yahoo.com . The BCGTPA reserves the right to accept or refuse to post any part of or all the information received.

Thank you for visiting our site and enjoy your adventure.
